I have been working on a way to let users rate websites in my directories easy and efficiently, and with a minimum of security to prevent bots from voting.
Finally I am ready to launch an AJAX based rating system that allow visitors to quickly rate a website without any need of refreshing the page or problems with browser security.

As a Dane, I have been following Tour de France intense, and yesterdays big news - M. Rasmussen suspended fra Rabobank, and pulled out of the Tour de France while he was in the yellow jersey and stood to win the whole race.

I have been updating my code a bit with personal tweaks here and there and this resultet in failure on my posts permalinks.

Just to inform any with interest that I am working on solving the issues and the blog will be back to full functionality soon.

Updated July 21:
Ok, everything is back to normal. Used the opportunity to upgrade the blog to the latest build 2.2.
I realised Wordpress had changed the way their trailing is handled and I needed to change that back to what I previously used. I found great help on fixing my permalink trailing slash at YouShouldKnow.com. Install the plugin, and then hit the resource page and follow the easy steps.

Well, it is time to update the blog a bit and why not use the time to advert for my new regional directory for Cars and Cardealers in Denmark called AutoDin.dk.

Directory is based on my own created directory script and my goal is to be one of the leading car & cardealer directory in Denmark. It will be free to submit auto related sites, but I also offer a featured site solution.

Ok I am back from a very good vacation with my family. We went to the southern Turkey - Marmaris and hit a week with extreme temperatures. We had 56C degrees one of the days and that broke a 27 year record for the area we where in.
I can not complain though, as the weather is the main reason for us to travel down there. (Want to get away from our own rainy/windy summer in Denmark)

I will be out of the office from june 23. to july 2. and will enjoy my vacation completely.

No sites will be reviewed in this period on my directories, but I will check my mail for the most urgent matters.

I have been boggeling with thoughts on how to re-code my directory system so it could handle more seo-friendly URL's for the detailpages.

And yesterday it hit me like a lightning from a clear sky, how I should get this done. 4 hours later and I had it made and it works brilliantly.
If you have no idea what I am talking about, my mission was to make the URL string more readable and unique, and you can se my examples belov (Before / After)

So from now on I have the option to give links in the system a unique filename if I want, and will use it on all new links, plus I will update old links in the system as I re-review then over time.

I am a huge fan of Blizzards Starcraft and must be the game I have spent most hours with online/offline.

This is the most balanced game I know of, and gameplay is in top and very rare to find. And now Starcraft 2 is on its way. Wuhuu.

As a personal side project a new blog has been made about scuba diving.

Dykning i Danmark ~ Diving in Denmark

Finally I have acquired a complete equipment set for scuba diving and so has my buddy here in Denmark, so from now on I will log all our dives national and international online.
The blog is running on Wordpress software and a customized theme.

I have decided to keep the language in Danish as my main audience for this is Danes / Scandinavian.

As a diver we are used to log all our dives in a little personal logbook, writing things down like temperature, sight range, air used, equipment used and writing what we experience down-under.
So what I have here is simply to take the paper format and making it digital and for others to read and get good ideas on i.e. locations to dive.

Ok the recent contest has come to an end, and personally I got a 15th place which derived by my 6th place in Yahoo.
I am pretty satisfied by the results - thinking of how little time I used on the actual site and backlinking.
